A heated election is coming (finally) to a close but things are getting uglier and uglier as Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was reportedly smashed by vandals early Wednesday morning and it was caught on tape.

Deadlinereports that the act happened around 5:45 a.m. Hollywood time on Wednesday morning, when a man dressed up as a city construction worker smashed the star. The man, who used a pickaxe and a sledgehammer, told Deadlinehe intended to remove the entire thing to sell at auction.
