One Bernie Sanders supporter is Seinfeld Porn Parodystill feeling the burn and in anticipation for the next presidential election (no, not again!) has created an aptly named political board game, "Basket of Deplorables."
SEE ALSO: Bernie Sanders is now a fashion icon and he's not sure what to make of itAs you move along the board (aka the "campaign trail") as either Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sander or Hillary Clinton you hit various bumps and hurdles in your attempt to kick Donald Trump out of the White House.
You also pick up "deplorables" to put in your basket along the way, as an homage to Clinton's insult slung at Donald Trump supporters during the campaign. And yes, there are 11 deplorable pieces, including a Steve Bannon.
This is the vision Bay Area lawyer David Pullman has for his politically inspired game, which he is hoping to build through funds raised on Kickstarter. As of Friday afternoon he was almost at $4,000 of his $22,000 goal after launching the campaign Wednesday.
The self-described "left-leaning Bernie Sanders-type liberal progressive" and political junkie was "terribly disappointed" when Trump won the election. But his candidate's crushing loss (twice if you include the primaries) was the world's win because it inspired him to create this creative board game.
And he's been working on it constantly once he got over the loss and gave himself a few days to wallow after Trump's win. He said, " It's been an obsession."
Pullman said the game is educational, funny and even cathartic -- you have to know political trivia and knowledge and be able to argue about issues in debates. It also has its lighter moments with questions such as "What is Trump's spirit animal?"
Pullman has promised an additional incentive for backers, who likely are part of the resistance: 10 per cent of profits from the game will go toward "protecting those made most vulnerable, either by Trump policies or by the rise of xenophobia," he said, promising more specifics if the game gets funded. He really wants Trump out -- both on his game board and in reality.
To really get a sense of how to play, Pullman has a full 10-minute video explaining the rules.
This Bernie bro has really a whole game plan to make sure 2020 looks nothing like 2016.
