Justin Timberlake is Watch Fast & Furious 6 Onlinea triple threat: pop star, actor and beverage investor.
Timberlake is now an investor in Bai Brands, which makes the drinks Bai, Bai Bubbles and Antiwater. Bai's drinks don't use artificial sweeteners and contain five calories and one gram of sugar per serving.
Timberlake will be Bai's "chief flavor officer" — the first to claim that title at the company. Bai didn't disclose how much Timberlake would invest in the brand.
"I've been a fan of Bai for a long time and when I met [Bai Brands CEO Ben Weiss] and his team, it became clear that I should be involved with this brand," Timberlake said in a statement. "As a father and someone who is cautious about what my family and I consume, I love what Bai stands for. This partnership was created from a shared desire to help people put better ingredients in their bodies without sacrificing taste."
Timberlake joins his wife, Jessica Biel, in the food and beverage industry. Biel in March opened Au Fudge, a child-friendly LA restaurant (that serves enough sugar to make up for Bai).
At Bai, Timberlake will "work closely with the Bai executive team on new flavor innovation, product launches, marketing campaigns and digital content, among other initiatives," the company said.
"As an actor, a businessman and a father, Justin embodies the core values of Bai," Weiss, who founded Bai in 2009, said in a statement. "His personal and professional success has been a result of his authenticity and tenacious spirit, traits that have been critical to our success as well. We are thrilled to have Justin join us in our mission to change the way the world drinks."
