I don't even know what to say at this point.

I don't know where to begin with Game 6 so I'll just start here: there's going to be a Game 7.

It was just three days ago that everything was terrible and the Cubs were on the cusp of flaming out in the World Series.
And now, there's just nine innings left. Just nine innings to erase 108 years of misery. Just nine innings to bring joy to every Cubs fan everywhere and, probably, usher in the apocalypse before the U.S. presidential election has a chance to.

There's ultimate joy or ultimate heartbreak lying on the other side of the next 24 hours and I don't know what it'll bring but I'm ready either way.
Well, that escalated quickly. On the brink of elimination (again), the Cubs' young sluggers came through with an offensive onslaught that's been largely missing from this World Series.
After struggling through the first five games of the World Series (4-for-19 with 2 RBI entering tonight), Addison Russell busted out in the biggest, grandest possible way.

Russell went 2-for-5 on Tuesday night with 6 RBIs, including the grand slam to end all grand slams for Cubs fans.
But that's not all! It all started in the first inning when Kris Bryant (four hits in Game 6!) crushed a solo homer and then Cleveland gifted the Cubs two more runs thanks to an outfield blunder that could have -- and, really, should have -- ended the inning.

Then, in the ninth, there was Anthony Rizzo's two-run homer, which was the icing on the cake or the cherry on top or whatever good cliche you can come up with.
Oh, and Jake Arrieta was Jake Arrieta (9Ks, 2R over 5.2 innings). Enough said.

The Cubs bats warmed up, and just in time. They're going to need every bit of the offense cranking tomorrow against the Corey Kluber/Andrew Miller pairing that has shut them down.
I have no idea. I can't even wrap my head around the fact there's even going to be a Game 7 let alone what will happen. But I'll try.
The Cubs offense is hot, having out-scored Cleveland 12-5 between the past two games (both Cubs wins), and they're sending Kyle Hendricks to the mound (16-8, 2.13 ERA in the regular season and 4.1 scoreless innings in Game 3).

That is very good, if you're a Cubs fan.
But Cleveland is starting Corey Kluber (2-0, 0.75 ERA and 15 Ks in 12 innings this World Series) and has Andrew Miller (29 Ks and only one run over 17 innings this postseason) rested and ready in relief.

That is very bad, if you're a Cubs fan.
Either way, the match-up is intriguing as hell. Kluber and Miller have shut the Cubs down but the Cubs managed to get some hits on Kluber in Game 4 and he's pitching on three days rest for the third time this postseason.
Can the Cubs get to a worn-down Kluber? Will Kluber hold the Cubs off long enough to get Miller in the game?
Will a rip in the space-time continuum open up above the stadium just before first pitch, swallowing all of downtown Cleveland and both teams in to a vacuum that collapses in upon itself?
ANYTHING. CAN. HAPPEN. IN. A. GAME. SEVEN.
I still can't wrap my head around this.
If this is how I feel, Lord knows how the biggest Cubs fan on earth feels right now. But it's probably something like he did at the end of Scrooged.
Because miracles happen.
