Handmaids in red robes and Halinghingwhite bonnets stood in front of the Capitol Tuesday to protest the latest iteration of the GOP health care bill that's up for a vote in the senate.

The vote has been delayed until after the July Fourth holiday recess, but the possibility of the bill's passage is still very real. It would affect women and reproductive health -- and not in a good way.

Tuesday's handmaids' protest is one of many around the country in the past few months -- these protests have focused on cuts to women's health care options at the state level in Ohio, Texas, Missouri, and now at the Capitol.
The silent protest yet again speaks volumes about the impact the proposed health care plan would have on women.
