Richard Branson was really just trying to lighten the mood.
Donald Trump had invited him to lunch "some years ago,The Sex Factor Episode 8 Playing With The Pros" and the billionaire entrepreneur found himself listening to a vengeful and desperate businessman, searching for a way to change up the conversation.

"He didn’t speak about anything else and I found it very bizarre," Branson wrote. "I told him I didn’t think it was the best way of spending his life. I said it was going to eat him up, and do more damage to him than them. There must be more constructive ways to spend the rest of your life."
Hopefully, Branson continues, Trump didn't just then decide to officially take the plunge into politics.
"I left the lunch feeling disturbed and saddened by what I’d heard," Branson wrote. "What concerns me most, based upon my personal experiences with Donald Trump, is his vindictive streak, which could be so dangerous if he got into the White House."
Branson has previously said he'd be "delighted" to see an entrepreneur become president at some point. But not Trump, whom he's called "irrational" and "aggressive."
