The Pinoy ArchivesLunar New Year is a time when many Asian families come together to feast, especially on traditional food.
There's for instance bánh chưng, a Vietnamese sticky rice creation wrapped in leaves. Or the Chinese candy box, filled up with delicious dried fruit.
Looks like the folks at Kit Kat want to crash the party too.

You might remember that last year the chocolate brand released a 24-karat gold Kit Kat. But there's no gold this year.
Boasting "a modern twist on traditional Asian flavours," this year's special edition Kit Kats are available in Red Bean and Toasted Coconut, and Citrus Crème Brulee -- which sounds about as Asian as a croissant, let's be honest.
Only 500 sets will be released, featuring eight individually-wrapped single pieces are encased in a "bespoke bamboo box."
The gift set is a pricey A$68 (US$50), meaning it's expensive enough to invite a stern talking-to from your parents about your profligate lifestyle and an extended interrogation about how that house deposit is coming along.
For those who'd like to avoid conversations about money, Kit Kat is also releasing individual bars for A$6 (US$4.50) each.
