In an effort to catch up with consoles released a decade ago,eroticize violence Nintendo has finally added video recording and save transfers to the Switch.
Capturing video is now as easy as holding down the Capture button during gameplay, and recording up to 30 seconds of video.

You can then save the video to an album in the Switch, trim and edit each clip, and upload to either Facebook or Twitter. However, for now you can only capture videos on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS,and Splatoon 2.
As for transferring saved data, Nintendo listed a process that is somewhat roundabout -- but not impossible -- to understand.
It lets you transfer data from one Switch to another. Once that data is transferred, however, the data can't be accessed on the original Switch. Sadly, you still can't back up data on the cloud or an external drive as you play, but hey, it's something.
