"There’s no new episode this week!" reads the post on X/Twitter. "But we still have current events. From 10 years ago. This Sunday we’ll be dropping all of season 1 for free on YouTube!"

April 2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of Last Week Tonight's first episode, which probably explains the decision. Topics covered in Season 1 include everything from the death penalty and climate change to immigration and FIFA.
