Ronda Rousey got beat the heck down in her first fight in more than a year some 10 days ago. That makes two straight losses for the UFC sensation who boasted an undefeated record and Germany Archivesseemed unbeatable as recently as 2015.
What will the superstar who's branched into movies, book-writing and other trappings of celebrity do next? We don't know, because she hasn't said. But Rousey did just break her post-fight silence by posting a grim J.K. Rowling quote to Instagram.

If you're racking your brain trying to figure out which Harry Potter book that quote comes from, the answer is none. Rowling said it in recounting her own-rags-to-riches journey during a commencement address at Harvard University in 2008.
Rock bottom, though? It's true Rousey is searching right now after having her previous aura of invincibility shattered not just once, but twice. It's true she probably feels bad about how things are going. But let's keep things in perspective here.
Rousey is still a massive celebrity, with the comforts and opportunities that life allows. She's still impossibly rich -- in fact, she earned $62,500 per second for her quick loss to Amanda Nunes on Dec. 30. (Nunes' haul came to about $5,000 per second). Rousey is still, in short, Ronda Rousey. She still has an overall life that fans and critics alike can only dream of.
If that's rock bottom, where do we sign up?
